What is Heart of The Cumberland Doing in 2020?

Hello from Heart of the Cumberland, We hope you are having a blessed Christmas season. There are several new ways our ministry may help you or someone you know in the new year. Of course, we continue to have our 11-week community peer support groups for the entire family as well as BEST Groups in Putnam County schools. However, we realize the importance of creating additional ways for people to meet and be together. Therefore, attached is an outline of peer support groups and other events scheduled for the beginning of 2020.

Throughout the year, we will keep in touch to update you on additional groups and events. We have met incredibly brave people this year. Their stories are as individual as they are, however, the grief and sorrow they share weave tender relationships with one another. And, together, they begin to gain ground, find new normals, and continue even through tremendous loss.

Each ornament was a custom expression of love. A huge thank you to Mary Mae for hosting this much needed event.

Please help us share our peer support group and events schedule with those around you. If you would like more information about our ministry or any of these events, please call our office. We have brochures available, and we appreciate any opportunity to share how Heart of the Cumberland creates a safe place for children, teens, and adults in our community who are grieving.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in his care, and may 2020 be your best year yet!

Warmest regards,

The HOTC Team
